Abstract (en)
A pitched roof is insulated by insulating panels (10) made from mineral fibres, which are jammed in between the rafters (12), the inwardly-facing faces of which panels are provided with a vapour-impermeable covering and the faces facing the roofing (19) with a plywood structure (20) which, on the drain-away side, extends beyond the edge of the insulating body of the panels (10) by means of a border (21) forming a water-shedding surface. The insulating panels (10) are preferably obtained by transversely cutting widths (1) supplied in roll form. <IMAGE>

Un comble en pente est isolé par des plaques isolantes (10) en fibres minérales, calées entre les chevrons (12), dont la face tournée vers l'intérieur est munie d'un revêtement pare-vapeur et la face tournée vers la couverture (19) d'un contre-placage (20) qui du côté égout dépasse par une bordure (21) au-delà du bord du corps isolant des plaques (10) pour former une surface de déversement des eaux. De préférence, les plaques isolantes (10) sont obtenues par découpe transversale de lés (1) livrés sous forme de rouleaux.
