[origin: EP0416149A1] There is provided, for use in an outwardly opening skylight wing (21), a planar skylight opener (25), of which the bearing block (4) fastenable to the inner face of the frame has an upwardly open receptacle for a coupling part (10) connectable to the actuating rod (3), and the actuating rod (3) itself has, at a distance from and offset relative to this, a separate receptacle for the articulation end of the scissor member (5), there being used as a scissor member (5) a toggle-joint scissor mechanism (7, 8) having a guide slot (9), into which an actuating pin (11) provided on the coupling part (10) engages from below. <IMAGE>
