The invention relates to a reel splicing device for wrapping webs on packaging machines, with two supply paths, in each case for one wrapping path, which open into a common supply path, a pair of rollers (9) being arranged at the start of the common supply path, and with in each case a cutter (11) for both wrapping webs. In order to make possible automatic connection of two wrapping webs, it is envisaged that, for each wrapping web, a clamping strip (17), which interacts with a support (15), is provided in front of the entrance into the gap of the pair of rollers (9), the clamping strips (17) being releasable both manually and via cam mechanisms coupled to the shafts (4) of the rollers (9), and that the rollers (9) each support a cutter (11), an elastic casing section (12) in front of this in the direction of rotation, and a further casing section (13) offset thereto by approximately 180 DEG , the casing sections (12, 13), which come into engagement with one another during roller rotation and project in relation to the roller periphery, forming the transporting roller gap, and the rollers (9) being mounted offset in relation to one another by 180 DEG . <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bobinenspleißvorrichtung für Einhüllbahnen an Verpackungsmaschinen mit zwei in eine gemeinsame Zuführstrecke mündenden Zuführstrecken jeweils für eine Einhüllbahn, wobei am Beginn der gemeinsamen Zuführstrecke ein Walzenpaar (9) angeordnet ist, sowie mit jeweils einem Messer (11) für beide Einhüllbahnen. Um ein automatisches Verbinden zweier Einhüllbahnen zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, daß für jede Einhüllbahn eine mit einer Auflage (15) zusammenwirkende Klemmleiste (17) vor dem Eintritt in den Spalt des Walzenpaars (9) vorgesehen ist, wobei die Klemmleisten (17) sowohl manuell als auch über mit den Wellen (4) der Walzen (9) gekoppelte Kurvengetriebe lüftbar sind, und daß die Walzen (9) je ein Messer (11), in Drehrichtung vor diesem einen elastischen Mantelabschnitt (12) und um etwa 180° versetzt hierzu einen weiteren Mantelabschnitt (13) tragen, wobei die bei der Walzendrehung miteinander in Eingriff gelangenden Mantelabschnitte (12, 13) gegenüber dem Walzenumfang vorstehend den transportierenden Walzenspalt bilden und die Walzen (9) um 180° gegeneinander versetzt montiert sind.
