[origin: EP0416690A2] A mason's adjusting profile comprising a post in the form of a metal or plastic profile with one or more chambers (4) which are fully or partially filled with wood (5) which is accessible from the outside for hammering in nails or the like. To create the possibility of using the greater part of the outer surface of the wood for fixing stays the metal or plastic profile is made up of a core (1) from which extend at least two radial faces (2) which at their free ends are provided with retaining elements (3), said core being provided with a cavity (6) for accommodation of a screw spindle (7, 8, 9).
