Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0417015A1] A control mechanism (40) of a high tension switch comprises a first control crank (52) coupled via a transmission rod (54) to a second control crank (56) which is locked onto a shaft (58) for actuating the switch. A toggle (65) made up of a setting crank (66) hinged to a telescopic guide (70) for supporting an energy-accumulating spring (72) co-operates with the two control cranks (52, 56) to constitute a latchless dual-tumbler mechanism. The setting crank (66) is entrained by a transmission mechanism (88) driven either automatically by a reduction gear motor unit (90) or manually by a shaft (94) of a backup control (44). <IMAGE>
