[origin: WO8808918A1] The present invention relates to a method and apparatus where shafts are driven via a transmission by a drive shaft for setting the rotational position of the shafts in relation to that of the drive shaft, the transmission including transmission wheels connected to the respective shafts. In accordance with the invention the connection between transmission wheels (1, 2, 4) and shafts is released, these connections, which are preferably friction joints, permitting locking the wheels relative the shafts in optional angular position and which are preferably friction joints, so that the respective shaft can be turned relative its transmission wheel, allowing the respective shaft to be turned to a predetermined stop position, which is achieved by a tool (9) being caused to co-act with a well defined, machined surface (7) of the shaft in a predetermined manner, the respective transmission wheel being connected to its shaft after each shaft has been turned to the stop position.

Dans le procédé et l'appareil décrits, des arbres sont commandés via une transmission par un arbre de commande, de façon à régler la position de rotation des arbres commandés par rapport à celle de l'arbre de commande, la transmission comportant des roues d'entraînement connectées aux arbres correspondants. Selon la présente invention, la connexion entre les roues d'entraînement (1, 2, 4) et les arbres est désengagée, les organes assurant cette connexion, qui sont de préférence constitués par des joints à friction, permettant le blocage des roues par rapport aux arbres dans une position angulaire désirée de sorte que l'arbre correspondant peut être amené à tourner par rapport à sa roue d'entraînement, permettant ainsi à l'arbre correspondant de tourner jusqu'à une position d'arrêt prédéterminée, ce qui est obtenu par un outil (9) amené à agir conjointement avec une surface usinée bien définie (7) de l'arbre d'une façon prédéterminée, la roue d'entraînement correspondante étant connectée à son arbre après que chaque arbre ait effectué une rotation jusqu'à la position d'arrêt.
