[origin: WO8905830A1] This invention relates to biodegradable polyurethanes on the basis of a polyol prepolymer and an L-lysine derivative having at least 2 isocyanate groups. The polyol prepolymer is preferably a polyester polyol prepolymer obtained by ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide, glycolide and/or lactone with a cyclic polyol. These new polyurethanes can be used in the production of different types of biomedical products, such as artificial skin, wound dressing, artificial veins, nerve grafts etc.

La présente invention se rapporte à des polyuréthanes biodégradables à base d'un prépolymère de polyol et d'un dérivé de L-lysine ayant au moins 2 groupes isocyanate. Le prépolymère de polyol est de préférence constitué par un prépolymère de polyol de polyester obtenu par polymérisation par décyclisation de L-lactide, de glycolide et/ou de lactone avec un polyol cyclique. Ces nouveaux polyuréthanes peuvent être utilisés dans la production de différents types de produits biomédicaux, tels que peau artificielle, pansements vulnéraires, veines artificielles, greffes de nerfs, etc.
