[origin: WO9012153A1] The invention concerns a vehicle-mounted device for applying an air blast to road surfaces, the device comprising a ground jet (25) which is connected via an air shaft (11) to a fan fitted on the vehicle. By means of a partition which divides the air shaft (11) into an upper section and a lower section and in which are disposed sealing means (31) which seal the shaft sections (16, 19) together in the operating position. The lower shaft section (19) can be moved, together with the ground jet (25), sideways along a guide next to the air shaft (11) and upwards into the upper, transport, position in order to give the vehicle sufficient ground clearance and so that no part of the device projects out to the side beyond the outline of the vehicle.

Dispositif agencé sur un véhicule de transport, servant à produire un courant d'air soufflant ou aspirant sur une chaussée. Ce dispositif comporte une buse de sol (25) qui est reliée par une chonduite d'air (11) avec un ventilateur monté sur le véhicule. Une surface de séparation sépare la conduite d'air (11) en une partie inférieure et une partie supérieure, et contient des moyens d'étanchéification (31) qui, en position opérationnelle, relient de manière étanche les parties de la conduite (16, 19). Grâce à cette séparation, on peut déplacer la partie inférieure (19) de la conduite avec la buse de sol (25) le long d'un guide, latéralement pour qu'elle se place à côté de la conduite d'air (11) et de haut en bas pour qu'elle prenne une position de transport relevée. La garde au sol du véhicule est ainsi suffisante et aucune partie du dispositif n'en dépasse latéralement.
