Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH03121012A] PURPOSE: To suffice for the requirements of a functionality and a human engineering factor, and obtain a wide use type chair capable of manufacturing by a lower cost by making the two free end portions of an almost U-shaped leg spring movably and lockably inserted into a sleeve supported by a receiving plate at the lower side, and the approximately one third portion of the center of a sheet movable. CONSTITUTION: The approximately one third or one fourth portion of the front portion of a sheet portion 20 is made of a comparatively thin and elastic material such as a plastic, and is fixed on a supporting plate 18. A receiving plate 22 is elongated toward a lateral direction over the sheet portion 20, and provides a rigidity as well as the front supporting plate 18, and fixed to the below of the sheet portion at the rear position of approximately one third of the sheet portion 20. And the approximately one third portion of the center of the sheet portion is made movable. The front top portion 26 of the U-shaped leg spring 24 of a main portion is supported by an adjusting screw 28 at the below of a front bracket 16. The rear end portion 36, 40 of the leg spring 24 is guided from the upper side of a journal portion 34, 36 to the lower side of the receiving plate 22, and can be locked by changing the position of the longitudinal direction.
