[origin: EP0417521A1] The invention relates to an undercarriage for a funfair railway vehicle. An undercarriage of this kind has wheel shoes (11, 17) mounted in articulated fashion on in each case one end plate (6) to ensure that the wheels (25) rotatably mounted in the wheel shoes (11, 17) can be set against the rail (1) in articulated fashion from several sides. In order to improve the running quality of the wheels (25) because of the particularly large centrifugal forces arising at high speeds, the invention envisages mounting the individual end plate (6) flexibly on the vehicle frame (3, 4) via a ball-and-socket joint (5) and supporting it, likewise flexibly and in articulated fashion, relative to the vehicle frame (3) via a connecting rod (7). The advantage is thereby achieved that, due to the flexible bearings, all the forces acting on the wheels (25) can be taken up and dissipated with little noise and with a high damping effect. <IMAGE>
