Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0417620A1] The belt conveyor (12) travels past the handling station (30). On the conveyor belt (10), the printed articles (14) lie in an overlapping arrangement (S), each printed article (14) lying on top of that preceding and the edges (16 to 22) of the printed articles (14) running at an angle to the conveying direction (F) of the belt conveyor (12). By means of this angled position, the printed articles (14) are exposed in the surface region (26) and in the sections (16' to 22') of the edges (16 to 22). In the working station (30), the printed articles (14) are acted upon mechanically in these exposed regions. Thus individual printed articles (14) are picked up without problems and freed from the overlapping arrangement (S) in arrow direction (A). <IMAGE>
