Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a multiple beam antenna which can be steered by low-level switching comprising a network (11) of elementary sources, an energy-focusing reflector (10), the network (11) being situated in the focal region of the reflector, in such a way as to produce the synthesising of the electromagnetic field in this focal region, and the region of coverage being produced by m spots, each spot corresponding to a definite number of active elementary sources. L'invention concerne une antenne multifaisceaux orientable par commutation bas niveau comprenant un réseau (11) de sources élémentaires, un réflecteur (10) focalisant l'énergie, le réseau (11) étant situé dans la zone focale du réflecteur, de manière à réaliser la synthèse du champ électromagnétique dans cette zone focale, et la zone de couverture étant réalisée par m spots, chaque spot correspondant chacun à un nombre défini de sources élémentaires actives. Application notamment au domaine des télécommunications spatiales.
