Abstract (en)
A bib, esp for protecting its clothes during feeding, consists of a single panel of material with an aperture to go over the baby's head. The aperture must be big enough for the baby's head to pass through, and it can have an elasticated collar (3), while the panel should be large enough to cover the chest and shoulders and part of the back. In a variant the bib can have a slit in the material at the back or to one side of the neck and be fastened in place by buttons.
