The coated materials (8) are prepared by mixing solid materials and bitumen in an installation comprising a hot kneader-mixer (1), a set of means (20) for storing the coated materials and a means (10, 12, 24) for transferring and distributing the coated materials (8) into the various storage means (22). The travel time (T1) of the coated materials (8) between the bitumen-injection point (7) and the receiving hopper (12) is determined, the quantity of coated materials (8) of intermediate composition supplied by the kneader-mixer is determined, at the moment of composition change and the instant when the intermediate composition materials arrive in the receiving hopper (12), a loading means (24) is filled as a function of the quantity determined at the desired instant and the loading means (24) emptied into a storage means (22) predetermined as a function of the composition change. <IMAGE>

Les matériaux enrobés (8) sont élaborés par mélange de matériaux solides et de bitume dans une installation comportant un dispositif de malaxage à chaud (1), un ensemble de moyens de stockage (20) des matériaux enrobés et un moyen de transfert et de distribution (10, 12, 24) des enrobés (8) dans les différents moyens de stockage (22). On détermine le temps de parcours (T1) des enrobés (8) entre le point d'injection de bitume (7) et la trémie de réception (12), on détermine la quantité de matériaux enrobés (8) de composition intermédiaire fournie par le dispositif de malaxage, au moment du changement de composition et l'instant auquel les matériaux de composition intermédiaire parviennent dans la trémie de réception (12), on réalise le remplissage d'un moyen de chargement (24) en fonction de la quantité déterminée et à l'instant voulu et on vide le moyen de chargement (24) dans un moyen de stockage (22) prédéterminé en fonction du changement de composition.
