Abstract (en)
The subject of the invention is an improved electron beam deflector (2) with incorporated permanent magnets (3) for image correction, characterised in that the said magnets (3) and the magnetic field generated by these magnets (3) are surrounded by an auxiliary magnetic shield (4) integral with the said deflector (2) and positioned with high geometric precision with respect to the said magnets (3). This auxiliary shield (4) renders the effectiveness of image correction insensitive to the form and to the geometry of positioning of the metal elements (8) in the vicinity of the deflector (2) during its setting-up and operating. Application to image tubes and more particularly to cathode ray tubes. <IMAGE>

L'invention a pour objet un déviateur (2) de faisceau électronique perfectionné avec des aimants permanents (3) de correction d'image incorporés caractérisé en ce que lesdits aimants (3) et le champ magnétique généré par ces aimants (3) sont entourés par un blindage magnétique auxiliaire (4) intégral audit déviateur (2) et positionné avec une grande précision géométrique par rapport auxdits aimants (3). Ce blindage auxiliaire (4) rend l'efficacité de correction d'image insensible à la forme et à la géométrie de positionnement des éléments métalliques (8) dans le voisinage du déviateur (2) lors de son montage et de son fonctionnement. Application aux tubes à image et plus particulièrement aux tubes à rayons cathodique.
