[origin: EP0418543A2] The air blowing device has alternately arranged air outflow openings consisting of opposite inward formations and outward formations on the inside of both rail sides. The outward formations are designed as replaceable pieces to be built in and can be inserted in corresponding installation recesses of both rail sides. In this manner, it is possible, by means of the variable design of the formations, to bring about different air outflow cross-sections and air outflow angles or directions, so that optimum incoming air supply is guaranteed. Moreover, the formations can have grooves dividing them with arc-shaped runout towards the respective outflow opening, so that twisting of the air jets is achieved. <IMAGE>
