[origin: EP0418688A2] The invention relates to a device for forming cut sheets made from web-like packaging material to be fed to a packaging station, with a cut-sheet cutting station with a cutter (5) and two conveying sections, which converge in front of the cutting station, each for a packaging-material web (1) with switchable feed devices for the respective packaging-material web (1). In order simply to be able to carry out a web replacement, it is envisaged that there is provided in the region between the converging conveying sections a web replacement device (3) which comprises a stationary cutter (7) arranged between both conveying sections, and, on the opposite side of the respective conveying section, in each case a movable cutter (10), which interacts with the stationary cutter (7), for cutting through the respective packaging-material web (1) corresponding to the form of the front or rear edge of the cut sheets, and, for each conveying section, adjoining it in the conveying direction, a diverting device for the separated front end of a new packaging-material web (1). <IMAGE>
