[origin: EP0418689A2] The invention relates to an automotive spindle with an electric motor having a rotor (51) and a stator (52), with a spindle shank (15) which is mounted rotatably with its lower portion in a bearing housing (10) attachable in a spindle rail (12) and on which the rotor (51) is arranged fixedly in terms of rotation, and with a motor housing (14) which is connected to the bearing housing (10) and in which the stator (52) is arranged. The bearing housing (10) has a centring and fastening flange (11), by means of which the bearing housing (10) is connected releasably to an elastic holding element (13) connectable to a spindle rail (12) and to which the motor housing (14) is fastened releasably. <IMAGE>
