[origin: EP0419317A1] According to the invention, the protective element or "heel tip" consists of a single assembly in which the following are firmly connected together, in a homogeneous manner: a fastening means (1), stud or pin for forcing into the stiletto heel; a moulding (4) in very hard resin which encloses the head (3) of the fastening means (1); an over moulding (5) around the hard resin (4) in order to form the wear plate of the heel tip made in relatively flexible plastic material with high resistance to abrasion. <IMAGE>
