[origin: WO8905937A1] A fluid flow control valve is particularly suitable for fitting between a radiator, of a wet central heating system, and a control valve normally fitted to such radiators. The valve has a body (1) in which a valve member (4, 4a) is rotatable between an open position in which apertures (5, 18, 19) are aligned with corresponding apertures (9, 22, 23) in a non-rotary body member (8, 8a) and a closed position in which the apertures (5, 18, 19) are blanked off. Elastomeric seals (3, 15, 16, 24) are provided between rotary (4, 4a) and non-rotary members (1, 8, 8a).

La soupape de régulation d'écoulement fluide décrite est particulièrement appropriée pour être installée entre un radiateur d'un système de chauffage central à liquide et une soupape de régulation normalement installée sur de tels radiateurs. Ladite soupape comporte un corps (1) dans lequel un élément de soupape (4, 4a) peut tourner entre une position ouverte dans laquelle les ouvertures (5, 18, 19) sont alignées sur des ouvertures correspondantes (9, 22, 23) ménagées dans un élément de corps non rotatif (8, 8a), et une position fermée dans laquelle les ouvertures (5, 18, 19) sont obturées. Des joints d'étanchéité élastomères (3, 15, 16, 24) sont disposés entre l'élément rotatif (4, 4a) et l'élément non rotatif (1, 8, 8a).
