[origin: WO8912164A1] In a starting apparatus with two starters (11, 12) operating in parallel, in order to ensure the switching of the drive motors (17, 18) which drive the starting pinions, the relay coils (21, 22) of the engaging relays (19, 20) which move the starting pinions are not switched in parallel until the starting pinions have been engaged and in such a way that they are excited simultaneously when the starter switch (16) is actuated. After the starter pinions are fully engaged, switch contacts (27-30) in each starter (11, 12) are actuated, switch contacts (27, 30 or 28, 29) belonging to two different starters (11, 12) being switched on consecutively and in series with one drive motor (17 or 18 respectively). Switching on of the drive motors (17, 18) is thereby blocked as long as one of the two starting pinions is not engaged.

Dans un dispositif de démarrage comportant deux démarreurs (11, 12) fonctionnant en parallèle, afin d'assurer l'enclenchement des moteurs d'entraînement (17, 18) chargés d'entraîner les pignons de démarrage, les enroulements de relais (21, 22) des relais d'enclenchement (19, 20) faisant avancer les pignons de démarrage ne sont commutés en parallèle qu'après engrènement desdits pignons et de telle manière qu'ils sont simultanément excités lors de l'actionnement du commutateur de démarrage (16). Après engrènement total des pignons de démarrage, des contacts de commutation (27-30) sont actionnés dans chaque démarreur (11, 12), des contacts de commutation (27, 30, 28, 29) appartenant à deux démarreurs différents (11, 12) étant commutés consécutivement et en série avec un moteur d'entraînement (17 ou 18 respectivement). L'enclenchement des moteurs d'entraînement (17, 18) est ainsi verrouillé tant que l'un des deux pignons de démarrage n'est pas engrené.
