Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0419802A1] In this method, destination calls requested in elevator cabins (CABIN.1 ... CABIN.n) in elevator control systems with immediate assignment of the destination calls requested at the floors (E0 ... EN) are treated according to an algorithm (CONTROLLER.K) implemented in the process computer (COMPUTER). Preliminary treatment of the cabin destination calls is effected when they are requested and final treatment of the cabin destination calls is effected before the floor of the cabin destination call. Cabin destination calls coinciding with assigned destination calls are immediately assigned during the preliminary treatment. The remaining cabin destination calls are shortened by one floor and recorded. The cabin destination calls recorded during the preliminary treatment are assigned in their original length during the final treatment in case there are similar assigned destination calls. The final treatment of the remaining cabin destination calls is effected as a function of the assigned destination calls before and/or after the floor of the cabin destination call. <IMAGE>
