Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0419922A2] On the heel part (26) of the ski boot, guide openings (46) for the tensioning cables (56, 56') are provided above the articulation (24). On lateral rear end regions, the tongue part (28) has guide eyelets (40) and, between these guide eyelets (40) and the longitudinal central plane of the boot, passages (42, 44). The tensioning cables (56, 56') starting from the tensioning device (52) run in a diametrically opposed manner from the guide openings (46) to the guide eyelets (40) and under the tongue part (28) to the associated passages (42, 44). Between the passages (42, 44), the tensioning cables (56, 56') are guided over the tongue part (28). Their ends on this side are fixed at fastening points (60, 60'), covered by the tongue part (28), on the shell part (14). The tensioning cables (56, 56') form a guide for the tongue part (28) so that the ski boot can be closed simply by tightening the tensioning cables (56, 56') by means of the tensioning device (52). <IMAGE>
