Abstract (en)
The information display system contains a plurality of information carriers arranged at various points and formed by display modules (4, 5, 6). These display modules (4, 5, 6) are connected via a power-feeding and communication line formed by a two-wire line (2, 3) to a central power-feeding and control device (1). The system is equipped for bidirectional data traffic between the central power-feeding and control device (1) and the modules (4, 5, 6). This system provides for reliable and rational display of information items of all types and is particularly suitable as a seat reservation system for railway trains. <IMAGE>

Das Informationsanzeigesystem enthält eine Mehrzahl von an verschiedenen Stellen angeordneten Informationsträgern, welche durch Anzeigemodule (4, 5, 6) gebildet sind. Diese Anzeigemodule (4, 5 6) sind über einen durch eine Zweidrahtleitung (2, 3) gebildeten Speise- und Kommunikationsstrang an ein zentrales Speise- und Steuergerät (1) angeschlossen. Das System ist für einen bidirektionalen Datenverkehr zwischen dem zentralen Speise- und Steuergerät (1) und den Modulen (4, 5, 6) ausgerüstet. Dieses System ermöglicht eine sichere und rationelle Anzeige von Informationen aller Art und ist insbesondere als Platzreservationssystem für Eisenbahnzüge geeignet.
