[origin: JPH03122448A] PURPOSE: To easily install an air supply apparatus in a lower indoor space, simplify operation, and further change variously the configuration of an air stream, by disposing an axial flow disk adjustably in position in a blowoff opening portion. CONSTITUTION: In an air supply apparatus for supplying hot air or cold air into an indoor space, an annular frame structure 1 includes an axial disk 2 therein and is movable vertically in the direction of a central axis 7 of the frame, and thereupon the disk 2 is kept at all times in a vertical flat plane without being inclined with respect to the central axis 7. When the axial flow disk 2 is moved and is coincident with a peripheral edge 3, intake air 5 passes through many blank holes 6 in the disk 2 and is distributed into the indoor space in a substantially horizontal direction. In contrast, when the axial flow disk 2 is moved interiorly upwardly along the central axis 7, the air 5 strikes a peripheral edge 3 of a surrounding frame and is discharged into a room vertically downwardly.
