[origin: EP0420796A1] It comprises a standard electronic movement (13) held in the case (1) by a casing ring in synthetic material (15) and which also contains an accumulator (30) of large size pinched between two conducting plates (16, 29). The upper plate (16) is covered by an insulating sheet (18) pierced by a hole (19) via which the small tongue (14) for housing the movement battery comes into contact with the small plate (16). The other pole of the accumulator is connected to the movement by the back (3), the case (1) and the dial (10). The casing ring (15) carries photovoltaic cells (21) lit through cut-outs (22) in the dial. The time piece may advantageously be produced in small series and its power reserve is very high. <IMAGE>
