[origin: WO8912780A1] A light source composed of gas-discharge tubes and having a surface which reflects the light from these gas-discharge tubes consists of three closely mounted gas-discharge tubes of various colours (1R, 1G, 1B), preferably red, green and blue, whose length is not more than ten times their width. The gas-discharge tubes (1R, 1G, 1B) are surrounded by a common envelope (3) having a reflecting surface on its internal face, and each tube can be connected to a separate light intensity regulator. In one embodiment, the three gas-discharge tubes (1R, 1G, 1B) are arranged along the edges of a regular or approximately regular three-sided pyramid.

Une source lumineuse constituée par des tubes à gaz, qui comporte une surface réfléchissant la lumière provenant desdits tubes à gaz, comporte trois tubes à gaz (1R, 1G, 1B) de couleurs différentes, de préférence rouge, vert et bleu, agencés à proximité les uns des autres et dont la longueur représente au maximum dix fois la largeur. Les tubes à gaz (1R, 1G, 1B) sont entourés d'une enveloppe commune (3), qui comporte en sa face interne une surface réfléchissante; les tubes peuvent chacun être connectés à un régulateur d'intensité lumineuse. Dans un des modes de réalisation, les trois tubes à gaz (1R, 1G, 1B) sont agencés sur les arêtes d'une pyramide triangulaire régulière ou pratiquement régulière.
