[origin: EP0421130A2] The invention relates to an image transmission system in operating lamps, in particular a camera system which records image signals so that the images can be made visible instantaneously, or stored. According to the invention, only the parts of a video camera which are inside the operating lamp record the optical signal and convert it into an electrical signal. The signal is transmitted immediately in wireless fashion to a receiver outside the operating lamp. <IMAGE>
