[origin: EP0421194A2] In order to achieve a mechanically simple and robust design and at the same time to keep the closing force of the closing valve small and as independent as possible of the pressure of the liquid, in a spray gun for a high-pressure cleaning device with a housing which surrounds a liquid feed, a discharge line and a closing valve and has a hand lever for opening the closing valve, it is proposed that the liquid feed line be inserted into a sheath in a sealed fashion, that the discharge line be inserted into the same sheath sealed from the opposite side, that one of the two lines form a valve body within the seal on which body a valve seat which is formed on the sheath rests in a ceiling manner under the effect of a spring which moves the sheath against the valve body and that, when actuated, the closing lever moves the sheath counter to the force of the spring. <IMAGE>
