Abstract (en)
Split hinge, in particular ball split hinge, comprising two leaves (1) provided with fixing openings (2) and two sleeve-type parts (3) (known as knuckless) which are joined to the leaves (1) and which are each closed at one end (4, 4 min ) and jointly accomodate a hardened steel hinge pin (5), which is fixedly connected with one sleeve-type part (3), whereby the centres of the two leaves (1) lie in a flat plane which runs through the centre line of the two sleeve-type parts (3) and the two leaves (1) are staggered with respect to each other in all positions.
