Abstract (en)
The invention relates to an acoustic insulation screen. The screen comprises a mat (5) constituted by a flexible envelope (4) inflated by a gas under pressure and permitting free circulation of the gas inside the envelope, this envelope being chosen so as not to transmit the vibrational energy from one point to another of the envelope and the gas being chosen from those gases in which the speed of sound is greater than the speed of sound in air. The invention applies especially to the protection of the compartment for the payload of a launcher. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un écran d'isolation acoustique. L'écran comporte un matelas (5) constitué d'une enveloppe souple (4) gonflée d'un gaz sous pression et permettant une libre circulation du gaz à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe, cette enveloppe étant choisie de façon à ne pas transmettre d'énergie vibratoire d'un point à l'autre de l'enveloppe et le gaz étant choisi parmi les gaz dans lesquels la vitesse du son est supérieure à la vitesse du son dans l'air. L'invention s'applique notamment à la protection du compartiment pour charge utile d'un lanceur.
