Abstract (en)

The device tensions a fabric (1) horizontally deployed above a structure such as a verandah or pergola (2), the fabric (1) having one end joined to a winding member (3) and its opposite end being joined to a movable load bar (5) whose translational movement (6, 7) is guided. Two spring-loaded extendable arms (8, 9) are each mounted, in an articulated manner, between a stationary point (13, 18) close to the winding member (3) and a movable point joined to the load bar (5). These arms (8, 9), urged by their springs in the direction of their extension, exert a thrust on the bar (5) tending to move it away from the winding member (3) and to tension the fabric (1). <IMAGE>

Abstract (fr)

Le dispositif assure la tension d'une toile (1) déployée horizontalement au-dessus d'une structure telle que véranda ou pergola (2), la toile (1) ayant une extrémité liée à un organe d'enroulement (3), et son extrémité opposée étant liée à une barre de charge mobile (5), guidée en translation (6,7). Deux bras extensibles (8,9) à ressorts sont montés chacun, de façon articulée, entre un point fixe (13,18) proche de l'organe d'enroulement (3) et un point mobile lié à la barre de charge (5). Ces bras (8,9), sollicités par leurs ressorts dans le sens de leur allongement, exercent sur la barre (5) une poussée tendant à l'éloigner de l'organe d'enroulement (3), et à tendre la toile (1).
