[origin: EP0421925A2] The cage serves to provide a connection between the reinforcements of a floor slab (P) and a wall (W). It consists of a multiplicity of alternately long transverse bars (1) bent in an L-shape and short transverse bars (2) bent in a U-shape. Each leg (11) of each L-shaped transverse bar (1) and each leg (21) of each transverse bar (2) bent in a U-shape lie in a common plane (E1). The reinforcing cage has at least one region which is capable of bending in its longitudinal direction and in which all transverse bars (1 and 2) are joined to one another only by longitudinal bars (3-6) lying in a first plane (E1). If the reinforcing cage is laid and the bendable region correspondingly curved, the extensions of the free legs (10) point towards the centre of the bending curve. <IMAGE>
