[origin: WO8906614A1] A transportable apparatus for cleaning stationary vehicles may comprise a lorry having a drivers' cab (2) and chassis (4). A vehicle cleaning bridge (8) comprising rotatable cleaning brushes is pivotally supported about a vertical axis on a carriage (12). The carriage (12) is movably supported on a track (14) extending in a longitudinal direction of the lorry. The bridge can be pivoted about the vertical axis to lie substantially parallel to the track for facilitating transportation of the vehicle cleaning apparatus. The bridge (8) can be pivoted about the vertical axis so as to extend perpendicularly to the direction of the track thereby enabling translational movement of the carriage (12) and the bridge (8) along the track (14) for facilitating cleaning of a stationary vehicle.

Un appareil transportable permettant de laver des véhicules stationnaires peut comprendre un camion comportant une cabine de chauffeur (2) et un châssis (4). Un pont (8) de lavage de véhicules comprenant des brosses de lavage rotatives est supporté de manière pivotante autour d'un axe vertical sur un chariot (12). Le chariot (12) est supporté de manière mobile sur un rail (14) s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale du camion. On peut pivoter le pont (8) autour de l'axe vertical pour qu'il soit sensiblement parallèle au rail, afin de faciliter le transport de l'appareil de lavage de véhicules. On peut pivoter ledit pont (8) autour de l'axe vertical de manière à ce qu'il s'étende perpendiculairement par rapport à la direction du rail, ce qui permet le mouvement de translation du chariot (12) et du pont (8) le long dudit rail (14), afin de faciliter le lavage d'un véhicule stationnaire.
