[origin: WO8911768A1] A class marking apparatus for use in telephone exchanges of the kind having means in use generating a call signal indicating that a telephone call is being made on a telephone line with which the exchange is associated, and means providing a line identification signal identifying the telephone line, the apparatus including a first interface (18), a microprocessor (12), memory (26, 28) and a second interface (30). The first interface (18) is effective, in use, to receive the common line identification signals and to interface the line identification signal to the microprocessor (12). The memory (26, 28) is adapted to store class marking data for subscriber telephone lines and the microprocessor (12), on receipt of the called signal, is effective to address the memory (26, 28) so as to access class marking data relating to the telephone line identified by the identification signals. The second interface (30) is effective to receive the accessed class marking data from the microprocessor (12) and interface the access data to the output of the apparatus.

L'invention concerne un appareil de marquage de classe utilisé dans les échanges téléphoniques, du type ayant un moyen produisant un signal d'appel qu'un appel téléphonique a lieu sur une ligne téléphonique à laquelle l'échange est associé, ainsi qu'un moyen fournissant signal d'un identification de ligne identifiant la ligne téléphonique, ledit appareil comprenant une première interface (18), un microprocesseur (12), une mémoire (26, 28) ainsi qu'une seconde interface (30). La première interface (18) a pour fonction de recevoir les signaux d'identification de ligne commune et de relier le signal d'identification de ligne au microprocesseur (12). La mémoire (26, 28) est adaptée pour stocker des données de marquage de classe destinées à des lignes téléphoniques d'abonnés. Le microprocesseur (12), à réception du signal, a pour fonction d'accéder à la mémoire (26, 28) de manière à avoir accès aux données de marquage de classe relatives à la ligne téléphonique identifiée par les signaux d'identification. La seconde interface (30) a pour fonction de recevoir les données de marquage de classe recherchées provenant du micro-processeur (12) et de relier les données d'accès à la sortie de l'appareil.
