[origin: WO9012907A1] The composition contains at least one greasing agent chosen from the oligomer polyamic acids and the products resulting from partial or total imidization of said acids, formed by polycondensation of a polynuclear aromatic dianhydride with concatenated nuclei and possessing chains which end only in an anhydride group or its dicarboxylic acid form, or only in a primary amine group or in a neutral group formed by the reaction of a monofunctional primary amine on the terminal anhydride group or by the reaction of a monofunctional anhydride or acid on the primary amine terminal group. The carbon fibres greased with this composition can be used to reinforce polymer matrices to form composite materials. The special greasing ensures improved adhesion between fibres and matrix, particularly in polyimide matrices.

La composition renferme au moins un agent d'ensimage choisi parmi les acides polyamiques oligomères et les produits résultant de l'imidisation partielle ou totale de tels acides, issus de la polycondensation d'un dianhydride aromatique polynucléaire à noyaux enchaînés avec une diamine aromatique polynucléaire à noyaux enchaînés et possédant des chaînes terminées soit uniquement par un groupement anhydride ou sa forme diacide carboxylique, soit uniquement par un groupement amine primaire ou encore par un groupement neutre issu de la réaction d'une amine primaire monofonctionnelle sur le groupement anhydride terminal ou de la réaction d'un anhydride ou acide monofonctionnel sur le groupememnt terminal amine primaire. Les fibres de carbone ensimées au moyen de cette composition sont utilisables pour le renforcement de matrices polymères pour constituer des matériaux composites, l'ensimage particulier procurant une amélioration de l'adhésion entre fibres et matrice, particulièrement avec des matrices polyimides.
