[origin: JPH03138896A] PURPOSE: To provide an electronic auxiliary switching device which can set the dimming of light in a region of specified ratios to normal luminous flux with a simple constitution and surely by increasing a resistance of a discharge section gradually, in the case of increasing the luminance of a fluorescent lamp and setting the resistance to the infinity in cutting off the discharge. CONSTITUTION: Upon adjustment of deviation RAW, which is derived by comparing a desired value SW and an actual value IW, at least one adjustment amount HMG is superposed, and the adjustment amount HMG is made to operate only on a lower limit of a luminance adjustment region of a fluorescent lamp LL. To this end, an auxiliary adjustment amount HMG is derived from a direct voltage at an electrode, which is not connected to a lamp choke coil L1 of the fluorescent lamp LL or from a light-emitting alternating voltage of the fluorescent lamp LL. Thus the switching device can set the dimming of light from the fluorescent lamp using a simple constitution and surely in a region from 10% down to 1% to norminal luminous flux.

Bei elektronischen Vorschaltgeräten mit Wechselrichtern für Leuchtstofflampen wird üblicherweise von einer Regelung des Lampenstromes oder der Lampenleistung Gebrauch gemacht, um unabhängig von Toleranzen der elektrischen Eigenschaften der Leuchtstofflampen oder deren Alterserscheinungen den Lichtstrom zu stabilisieren. Wird eine solche Regelung gleichzeitig zum Dimmen der Leuchtstofflampe ausgenutzt, so ergeben sich Schwierigkeiten an der untere Grenze des Dimmbereichs bei beispielsweise 1 % der Nennlichtleistung. Es wird vorgeschlagen, den Helligkeitsregelbereich an der unteren Grenze durch zusätzliche Regelung in Abhängigkeit des Entladewiderstands der Leuchtstofflampe (LL) vorzunehmen. Dabei wird die hieraus resultierende Hilfsmeßgröße (HMG) der aus dem Soll-Istwertvergleich der Strom- oder Leistungsregelung resultierenden Reglersteuergröße (RSG) im Sinne einer Stabilisierung des Lampenstromes überlagert.
