[origin: EP0422382A1] The present invention relates to a device to oppose backward gliding of a cross-country ski of the type with a movable anchoring member (6) fitted in a housing (4) formed in the ski (1) and opening out in the lower running sole (3) of the latter. <??>This device is characterised in that the anchoring member (6) has at least an upper face (6d) forming an upward- and rearward-tilted ramp, means are provided for keeping the upper face (6d), forming the tilted ramp, of the anchoring member (6) in contact with at least one actuating element (4d) provided at the top part of the housing (4) and capable of sliding longitudinally over the upper face (6d) forming the tilted ramp, and longitudinal play is provided between the housing (4) and the anchoring member (6). <IMAGE>
