[origin: EP0422710A1] A gate device (10) comprises a bar (21) moving between a horizontal position and a vertical position by means of two linear hydraulic actuators (12, 13) actuating in opposition a lever (16) having a central fulcrum consisting of the shaft (17) pivoted on the bar (21). On the actuator (13) moving the bar in a horizontal position is placed a spring (22) which counterbalances moment produced by the weight of the bar on the shaft thus balancing the forces of the hydraulic actuators.
