Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a movable ventilation system provided for a work station whose atmosphere is vitiated by solvent vapour, toxic gases or dust from which it is desired to protect the operators of the workstation. This system comprises a blowing plenum (14) overhanging a grating floor (8) mounted over a pit (1) which is maintained under a reduced pressure in order to form an extraction area where the air blown by the plenum (14) and laden with polluting agents emitted in the work zone is extracted. The plenum (14) has a blowing surface area less than the total surface area of the pit (1) of the system and is mounted on a plenum-supporting carriage (11) which can move along the entire length of the system. Means (3, 7, 11, 27) are provided for limiting the extraction area on the grating floor (8) to an area corresponding substantially to the blowing surface area of the plenum (14) projected onto the grating floor (8), this area moving in conjunction with the carriage supporting the plenum (14). L'invention concerne une installation mobile de ventilation prévue pour un poste de travail dont l'atmosphère est viciée par des vapeurs de solvant, des gaz toxiques ou des poussières dont on veut protéger les opérateurs du poste. Cette installation comprend un plénum de soufflage (14) surplombant un caillebotis (8) monté sur une fosse (1) maintenue en dépression pour former une aire d'extraction où l'air soufflé par le plénum (14) et chargé des agents polluants émis sur la zone de travail est extrait. Le plénum (14) présente une surface de soufflage inférieure à la surface totale de la fosse (1) de l'installation et est monté sur un chariot porte-plénum (11) pouvant se déplacer sur toute la longueur de l'installation. Des moyens (3, 7, 11, 27) sont prévus pour limiter l'aire d'extraction sur le caillebotis (8) à une aire correspondant sensiblement à la surface de soufflage du plénum (14) projetée sur le caillebotis (8), cette aire se déplaçant conjointement avec le chariot (11) supportant le plénum (14). Applications aux installations de peinture au pistolet, d'application de résines synthétiques, d'opérations de ponçage ou d'ébarbage, etc.
