[origin: WO9012687A1] Doctor blade device for applying or for spreading or smoothing suitable free-flowing or powdered substances on flat surfaces (15), webs or the like, in connection with or without the use of templates (16), preferably in connection with magnetically generated pressure of a doctor blade. A doctor blade or a profiled rod (9) which supports or, if necessary, touches or loosely surrounds the doctor blade, are adjusted parallel to the plane of the application surface or of the template (16) or the like by an auxiliary device incorporated in the doctor blade device (12). The profiled rod consists essentially of at least one, at least approximately centrally arranged pivot joint or rotary disk joint or possibly spherical joint (5) or, in the case of very long devices, it consists, if necessary, of two or more rotary disk joints or the like arranged symmetrically or approximately symmetrically along the length of the doctor blade element (12, 121). The doctor blade element or the profiled rod (9) which supports, touches or surrounds the doctor blade is connected to the doctor blade device by said joints and is secured so as to rotate and slide with the doctor blade device.

Un appareil à racle sert à appliquer ou à enduire des substances fluides ou pulvérulentes appropriées sur des surfaces planes (15), des bandes ou similaires, avec ou sans patrons (16), la racle étant de préférence magnétiquement sollicitée contre la surface. Un accessoire intégré dans l'appareil à racle (1) décrit ajuste parallèlement à la surface à enduire ou au patron (16) un élément à racle ou une barre profilée (9) de support de l'élément à racle qui l'entoure avec jeu ou si nécessaire le touche. La barre profilée comprend essentiellement au moins une charnière, une charnière coulissante ou le cas échéant une charnière à bille (5) au moins approximativement centrales, ou dans le cas d'appareils de grande longueur, si nécessaire, au moins deux charnières coulissantes ou similaires symétriquement ou approximativement symétriquement distribuées sur la longueur de l'élément à racle (12, 121). Ces charnières relient l'élément à racle ou la barre (9) qui porte, touche ou entoure celui-ci avec l'appareil à racle de manière rotative ou coulissante.
