Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0423341A1] Photoconductive toner is obtd. by dispersing more than 50 wt.% of inorganic photoconductive material in resin for fixing. Specific surface area of inorganic photoconductive material is 8-20 m2/g. 50-500 wt.% of inorganic photoconductive material such as zinc oxide, is dispersed into 100 wt.% of fixing resin. Fatty acid and sensitized dye are absorbed onto surface of inorganic photoconductive material. Mfr. of photoconductive toner comprises dipping the inorganic photoconductive material having 8-20 m2/g of specific surface area, into the organic solvent in which fatty acid is soluble, and adding the fatty acid and the sensitizing agent into the soln. for making the sensitizing agent absorbed onto surface of inorganic photoconductive material.
