[origin: JPH03151562A] PURPOSE: To compact a structure by providing two lines of passages which extend vertically between upper and lower surfaces that face the upper part of the air collector of a fuel distributor casing for a V-type internal combustion engine, and providing a feed path and a return path parallel to the passages. CONSTITUTION: An air collector of a six-cylinder-V-type internal combustion engine provided with four valves for each cylinder has an upper portion 2 and a lower portion 4 which works also as a fuel distributor casing 3 at the same time. An intake conduit 7 having first and second sections 5, 6 is provided for guiding airflow from the upper portion 2 into an inlet passage 8 disposed within a cylinder head. In this case, passages 11 extending in the direction perpendicular to a feed path 15 and a return path 16 are provided between the upper surface 9 and lower surface 10 of the distributor casing 3 and can be shut off by a restriction member. The passages 11 are grouped in two parallel lines and the feed path 15 and the return path 16 are provided in a parallel configuration between the lines.
