Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH03156090A] PURPOSE: To establish easy replaceability of a working mechanism, etc., at occurrence of any problem by installing a takeup drum in the upper part of a space bounded by two glass plates, attaching a working mechanism to the takeup drum removably, and supporting it by a stopper. CONSTITUTION: A cradle element 5 is installed in the upper part of a space of an insulating panel consisting of glass plates 1 and 2 for window, and in the cradle element 5, a takeup drum 6 is inserted, whereto a screen 7 such as a blind threaded through a vertical long hole 5a located down aslant is fixed. A motor 10 and speed reducer 11 are removably mounted on the drum 6 through an actuating member 12 attached to the drum, and a stopper 13, ring-shaped seal 14, and guide ring 15 are installed at the opening 3b of a sash 3 so that actuating mechanisms 10 and 11 are supported and air-tightness is held. When any problem arises, the stopper 13 and a key 19 are taken out together with a busher 18 and a packing box 17 so that the actuating mechanisms 10 and 11 are made replaceable.
