[origin: EP0424313A2] The flushing pipe is to be connected at the top to a flushing cistern and at the bottom to a toilet bowl. If the flushing pipe is used for suction-removal of odours, a closing part (7) is cut out in one of the two connection pieces (3) along a wall region (7a) of reduced wall thickness. A suction-removal pipe is welded onto this connection piece (3) or connected by a coupling sleeve. The flushing pipe can also be used for a toilet without suction-removal of odours. <IMAGE>
