[origin: WO9000788A1] A self adhesive label (2) has a layer (4) of polymeric material such as polypropylene or polyethylene, the first layer (4) being printed on one face (12) and having an adhesive material (6) on its other face. The upper surface (12) of the layer (4) is printed using u.v. activated inks. A transparent second layer (14) of polymeric material such as polypropylene or polyethylene is laminated to the upper surface (12) of the first layer (4) by means of an adhesive agent (16), which is preferably an u.v. activated adhesive agent. The label (2) may include a removable backing sheet (8) which is removably adhered to the adhesive material (6) on the other face of the first layer (4). A silicon release layer (10) may be located between the backing sheet (8) and the adhesive material (6) on said other face of the first layer (4).

Une étiquette (2) autocollante comprend une couche (4) de matière polymère telle que du polypropylene ou du polyéthylène, la première couche (4) étant imprimée sur une face (12) et comportant une matière adhésive (6) sur son autre face. On imprime la surface supérieure (2) de la couche (4) à l'aide d'encres activées par U.V. On stratifie une seconde couche transparente (14) de matière polymère telle que du polypropylène ou du polyéthylène, sur la surface supérieure (12) de la première couche (4) au moyen d'un agent adhésif (16), lequel est de préférence un agent adhésif activé par U.V. Ladite étiquette (2) peut comprendre une feuille de support amovible (8) collée de manière amovible à la matière adhésive (6) sur l'autre face de ladite première couche (4). On peut placer une couche de libération (10) en silice, entre la feuille de support (8) et la matière adhésive (6), sur ladite autre face de la première couche (4).
