[origin: EP0424592A1] The interlocking blocks possess, on at least two opposite sides (2, 3), outwardly tapering teeth (4, 5). On the front sides (9) of one side (3), the teeth (5) are provided with toothing tongues (10) and on the front sides (6) of the other side (2), the teeth (4) are provided with toothing grooves (8). In addition, the toothed flanks (11, 12) of one tooth row (5) possess distance projections (13). An interlocking block can be constructed, for example, as a rectangular block (1) and possess, on its longitudinal sides (2, 3), in each case three teeth (4, 5) and, on its narrow sides (14, 15), either a tongue (16) or a groove (17). <??>The interlocking blocks can be used either for constructing cycle paths with few unevenesses, the teeth locking into one another, or they can be used as lawn interlocking blocks, the teeth in each case abutting against one another and being locked by the toothing tongues (10) and toothing grooves (8). <IMAGE>
