A pressurized gas vessel is filled with a porous solid block 2 which is impregnated with solvent in which an explosive gas is dissolved. A safety device for arresting flashbacks, which consists of a baffle plate 8 arranged beneath a valve opening 3, deflects the flame jet penetrating in the event of a flashback towards the inner surface of the heat-absorbing steel shell 1 and towards the heat-absorbing metal mass of the valve 5 and directs the energy of the flame to the outside. This prevents an explosion of the pressurized gas vessel. A pin 10 which passes centrally through the baffle plate 8, the diameter of which does not exceed the diameter of the cylinder-neck opening for the valve 3, serves as an assembly aid and serves to fix the baffle plate 8 on the solid block 2. <IMAGE>

Ein Druckgasbehälter ist mit einem porösen Masseblock 2 gefüllt, der mit Lösungsmittel getränkt ist, in der ein explosibles Gas gelöst ist. Eine aus einer Prallscheibe 8, die unterhalb einer Ventilöffnung 3 angeordnet ist, bestehende Sicherheitsvorrichtung zum Ableiten von Flammenrückschlägen, lenkt den bei einem Flammenrückschlag eindringenden Flammenstrahl zur Innenoberfläche des wärmeaufnehmenden Stahlmantels 1 und zur wärmeaufnehmenden Metallmasse des Ventiles 5 hin ab und leitet die Flammenenergie nach außen. Dadurch wird eine Explosion des Druckgasbehälters verhindert. Ein Stift 10, der die Prallscheibe 8, deren Durchmesser den Durchmesser der Flaschenhalsöffnung für das Ventil 3 nicht überschreitet, zentrisch durchsetzt, dient als Montagehilfe und der Fixierung der Prallscheibe 8 auf dem Masseblock 2.
