[origin: JPH03152249A] PURPOSE: To most adequately and surely execute yarn treatment at a high operating speed by disposing movable sinkers between needles belonging to the sinkers and fixed loop-forming webs having loop forming edges extending at an angle to a knitted fabric drawing-out direction in a specific state. CONSTITUTION: The movable sinker 33 is disposed between a fixed loop-forming web 31 having the loop forming edge 35 extending at the acute angle with the knitted fabric drawing-out direction 34 viewed in the longitudinal direction of a needle bed and a needle (having a needle back surface 55 and needle head 49) belonging to the sinker 33. The edge 38 of the sinker affecting the yarn 40 is extended to the side lower than a projection 33.1 forming a bridge to cover a tooth mouth spacing 30 and to the rear of a knocking over edge 32. The edge 38 extends at an angle different from the angle that the loop forming edge 35 forms with the knitted fabric drawing-out direction 34 in the respective areas 38.1 and 38.2 and respective oscillation positions of the sinker 33.

Bei einer Flachstrickmaschine mit verstellbaren Platinen (33) sind diese Platinen jeweils zwischen einer Nadel (43) und einem feststehenden Maschenbildungssteg (31) eines Nadelbettes (42) angeordnet und so gestaltet, daß sie mit den eine Kulierkante bildenden Maschenbildungsstegen (31) beim Abschlagen neu gebildeter Maschen zusammenwirken können.
