In order to produce an earth connection between the housing parts, it is intended to ensure a good electrical contact between housing parts which are directly mutually adjacent in the assembled state. To this end, an approximately M-shaped bent contact spring of an arrangement for fixing a connecting element with the aid of rivets is mounted on a housing part, the central section of the contact spring projecting through a retaining opening in the housing part in the direction of the opposite housing part. The central section of the contact spring has a contact surface covered with a protective film. The new arrangement is intended to be more simply constructed, to be capable of cost-effective production and nevertheless to be held securely on a sheet-metal wall. 2.2. The new arrangement is characterised by a lateral web (6) dividing the retaining opening (3) into two opening sections (10, 11), and by a spring strip (12), which supports the connecting element (2), is longer than the width of the lateral web (6) and whose ends (13, 14) can be pressed respectively into one of the opening sections (10, 11) when it rests at least partially on the lateral web (6) and have a width which is slightly larger than the width of the respective opening section (10, 11). In addition, a tool is specified which has two pressing-in jaws which hold the spring strip (12) in the longitudinal direction between them and between which there is constructed a recess that allows the spring strip to be bent. 2.3.
